God of the Waters Hybrid
A Mythological Manifestation of Power and Eternity July 2024
In the depths of ancient myths, where waves whisper forgotten tales, the God of the Waters emerges—an ethereal being who commands the tides. With a flowing beard like an endless storm and eyes that hold the secrets of the seas, he governs every ripple and surge. His hands, radiant with light and mist, shape the waters with divine will, reflecting both wrath and tranquility. This depiction echoes legendary deities such as Poseidon of Greek mythology or Enki from Mesopotamian lore—an eternal force balancing creation and destruction, ever-flowing like the oceans themselves.

The last inhabitant of the planet sat in silence beside his loyal companion. Behind them, the dying host star burned in its final blaze, while massive rockets launched one after another toward a distant world. Everyone else had already migrated, but he remainedthe final witness to a home that would never return.

Grand Space Opera - 3D 2005
Around 2005, I completed a major challenge on the theme Grand Space Opera. My artwork, titled Star Olympic, received strong international recognition and was awarded third place in the competition.
Looking back, the final piece could have had greater atmospheric depth, but I faced technical issues with V-Ray rendering at the time, which was slow and limited my progress. I eventually stopped there.
You can view the WIP stages and two examples of the magazine covers featuring the work here.
Original description (2005):
On February 14, the winners of the Grand Space Opera Challenge hosted by CGNetworks & CGTalk were announced. The past weeks had been hectic, but the relief and excitement were worth it. I was honored that my piece was selected for an Honourable Mention, as well as receiving the CG Choice Award.
The Grand Space Opera art book and related publications were later released, featuring my work alongside the selected pieces of other talented artists.
